Internet Marketing Consultant

June 10, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Internet marketing consultantInternet marketing consultant. It has a ring to it, huh?
Sounds like whomever carries that title must have some fancy bullets in their holster – and a fancy gun to help their clients shoot up to the top of the search engines, get massive traffic, and convert that traffic into cash.

What is not apparent in this description though – is how the human behind the

Internet marketing

computer is helped by a good consultant who can bring them valuable insights on:

Choices about markets
Choices about strategy
Choices about affiliate products
Choices about how to spend your time

Even choices about how to balance your time in your personal and professional work life.

The great value of a good consultant is that they bring their experience to the table, and a good consultant can see in an instant what may take you hours, days, or weeks to figure out, simply because they’ve already worked through similar challenges.

They have paid the price.

Perspective is also of huge value. You are immersed in the trenches and details of your business while a consultant can look at the bigger picture and help you to see what is nearly invisible from inside the trees.

The fastest way to break out of a slump, whether from a setback, failure, or burnout, is to hire a good Internet marketing consultant who can help you to rekindle the passion you have for this great business and get you back on track in a phone call.

Internet Marketing After Party by Rick Butts

April 18, 2008 · Leave a Comment

internet marketing after partyThe special LIVE streaming TV show last night was a smash success as Rick Butts just yanked The Internet Marketing After Party out of his, uh, hat.

The show was funny and filled with great ideas including a mini-tour of Rick’s setup, lighting and the software used from Ustream.TV

Maybe he’ll make this a regular feature, I hope so.

Colorado Coffee Club to Meet Tuesday August 21st 2pm Denver

August 17, 2007 · Leave a Comment

MEETING TUESDAY 21st in DENVER

The Colorado Coffee Club will be meeting here in Denver at 2pm,
Tuesday August 21st, and will be hosted by me, Rick B.

We are NOT meeting at the Starbucks – I am working on a groovy
place that will be conducive to our needs.

LOCATION IN DENVER but address TBA

NEWS about MEMBERS

I hereby propose we decide on a blog location for us all to post our links to what we are doing – and affiliate signup/logins so we can promote each other’s stuff if it fits.

This has been a bizarre summer for me – and I know personally, for
nearly all of us. Many marketers report dismal sales while a few
things have done well – but I think we’ll all be glad for summer to
wind down and cooler weather to breeze in.

Joel filmed his TV show and I hear it is a smash.

Len and Bruce did a big 3 hour training that really amped up
the membership of their My-Affiliate-Store.com and that
business seems to be just getting better and better.

Nathan will be launching his Rip2It the day after our Mastermind
meeting – but he said he’s coming no matter what.

If you haven’t signed up for his affiliate program – do that,
and help our pal launch is cool software to the world by
mailing on Wednesday.

Frank is not going to be able to fly in – as his daughter is heading
off to college – he has his hands full. Frank is putting on his
kazillion dollar profit making program in the UK in September.
I think all of you (except me) are speaking at it!

Rick Raddatz is up to something bizarre and unexplainable with his
millionaire vacation club that he’s wisely building toward well
in advance of the early September teleseminar.

Jonathan is rolling out an interview series – time to find out
what he’s up to?

And Rick Butts is stepping down as the Editor and co-owner
of Online Marketing Monthly Magazine – being replace by
Frank Garon.

No big corporate takeover, just setting things right in the
universe as Rick Butts (me) bit off way more than I can
chew.

I will continue to challenge Rich Schefren’s statement
that a “lifestyle business” is an illusion – a myth. After
reading the 4 hour work week – I’m more convinced than
ever that Internet marketing will allow me to do what I
really want to do – and that is not to build a giant business
but a system that doesn’t have to include me in the
way of the information or profit flow.

We’ll see, huh?

The Future of The Coffee Club

This group is very valuable to me. I want to keep it rolling as long
as we can. I’m 100% in – as it meets my criteria of NOT getting
on an airplane (although it is a bit far to Nathan’s cabin!) LOL

What I’ve learned about you all – is how different we all are from
one another – yet how similar our challenges are.

The way each of us solves problems is very interesting to me – as
well as how different our goals seem to be – while all of us share the
desire to live her in this awesome state – lifestyle is very important.

While we have not technically done anything as a group, like a Colorado
Seminar – or a Master, Mastermind web site – I think that as things
shake out – the right opportunity will emerge.

Len told me he really wants to see us do the local event – we had
originally talked about it being in November. Let’s all have some
input on this when we meet Tuesday.

I’m composing this in my gmail – but may post it to a blog
where we can all edit – and add hyperlinks and comments
or post our own stuff.

I, for one, am very grateful for the group – and look forward to
seeing what will happen.

I do encourage you all (Joel) to set aside our busy schedules
and make this a priority, or basically we will talk about whomever
isn’t there in very bitchy gossipy ways…

Love to all,
Rick Butts
